A song

"He's a pussycat and he's okay, he sleeps all night and he sleeps all day." Thus the admiral singing a Monty Python spoof tonight over supper as Ian (our boy cat) attempted to climb on said Admiral's lap. Good news to friends. Yvette's job renewed for another full year. Toasts all round. Yvette orange juice, Duchess & Admiral port.

Like all animals, Ian enjoys his food, loves to eat and I keep the food on top of the dryer in the kitchen. So here is an unself-conscious moment:

Ian is not much for superfluous eye-contact, very hard to photograph directly, he's a wary cat:

He can go way too high and need people-help: oh dear!

He'd never make a he-man lumberjack. The admiral was of course alluding to the Monty Pyton satire.
